La petite maison de Cucuron

La Petite Maison welcomes you in the shade of bicentenary plane trees, on the banks of the historic Cucuron basin.

Discover a playful market cuisine where the finest seasonal produce preserves the Provencal flavors of yesteryear. The Chef’s aim is to offer a subtle harmony between price and daring cuisine. Cooking lessons available.

La Petite Maison, formerly a bar on the Place de Cucuron, has been lovingly restored to retain its conviviality.

Traditional decor, old-fashioned woodwork, Renaissance tapestries and period floor tiles offer warmth, character and comfort.

Last but not least, discover a playful market cuisine where the finest seasonal produce preserves the Provencal flavors of yesteryear.

In 2005, at Edouard Loubet’s request, the Chef undertook a mission at the Moulin de Lourmarin. He was tasked with managing the difficult transition from a 2* Michelin-starred establishment to a restaurant offering excellent-value menus. He also set up an event catering service, a bakery-pastry shop and an ice-cream parlour, and took on the role of manager. He coordinates the entire establishment.

In 2006, he joined Maison Gouin in Coustellet as quality manager, and developed an event catering sector, as well as a gourmet home catering service.

2006 was a year rich in encounters and discoveries around the world. Indeed, Les Maisons de France gave Eric Sapet the opportunity to offer cooking classes in various hotel schools. He also organizes gala banquets in foreign embassies. These initiatives enable him to promote French cuisine, and more specifically Provençal cuisine, abroad.

A wine lover with a passion for oenology, Eric works with a number of winemaker friends to find the most delicate and harmonious food and wine pairings. He is delighted to offer them for tasting at events such as Rhône Exaltation or Découverte en Vallée du Rhône.

Finally, 2007, the big year!
Eric seized the opportunity to take over La Petite Maison in Cucuron, a pretty little restaurant in the heart of the Luberon. Here, the chef concocts a truly gourmet cuisine based on market produce. The menu features the charms and flavors of seasonal produce and a generous wine list.

La Petite Maison is now well known, having been awarded its first Michelin star in 2009.
