La Tour-d’Aigues Castle
Your itinerary begins at the Renaissance Château de La Tour-d’Aigues, which rises like a grand theatrical backdrop.
Its ruined appearance conceals several surprises: nearly 1,000 m² of underground spaces have been converted to house the Faience Museum and temporary exhibitions.

Ansouis Castle
Continue to the village of Ansouis, officially listed as one of the “Most Beautiful Villages of France”. Here, all the charm of Provence comes together.
The medieval castle, later extended with a Renaissance residence, towers above the village. This remarkable architectural treasure is still inhabited and furnished and is open to visitors during the summer.
Lourmarin castle
Continue your journey to Lourmarin, another village listed among the “Most Beautiful Villages of France”. Set at the foot of the Luberon, it has a lively atmosphere thanks to its café terraces, restaurants, galleries and shops.

Lauris castle
Discover the terraces of Lauris Castle, dramatically perched above the cliff like the prow of a ship, offering a peaceful view at sunset.
Stroll through its remarkable garden, unique in Europe and entirely dedicated to dye plants. More than 250 species are grown here, producing natural pigments used in textiles, painting, cosmetics and food.
The remains of Cadenet Castle
The castle, whose earliest form was the 11th-century Castrum Cadenatum, endured a turbulent history. It was dismantled in the 17th century by order of Louis XIV, then set on fire by revolutionaries in 1792.
It was never restored and was instead taken apart stone by stone throughout the 19th century. Major redevelopment work has been carried out on the site since 1990.
At the Château de Cadenet site, discover the troglodyte dwellings and admire the magnificent panoramic view over the Durance Valley.
