MTB no.34 – Between hilltop villages
Leaving from Lourmarin, recognized as one of France’s most beautiful villages, this rather easy loop takes mountain bike route no. 33 to Cadenet, the ruins of its castle and the splendid panoramic view of the Durance River.
Ensuite, l’itinéraire grimpe et bascule sur l’autre versant de la colline des Gardis, puis file entre vignes et sous-bois jusqu’à Cucuron et son magnifique Bassin de L’Etang, bordé de platanes bi-centenaires. Le retour, plus direct, se fait par Vaugines, encore un beau village pittoresque niché au pied du flanc sud du Grand Luberon.
