La Bastidonne is located in the Luberon Regional Natural Park, 5 km east of Pertuis, and is very characteristic of the Provencal rural habitat. Strolling through its winding cobblestone streets, discover beautiful village homes. See the rue des Ferrages, the church street, the washing well and fountain. Cross the charming square ?Place du Bari? to arrive at the castle street, which affords a beautiful view over the Luberon, the Durance plans and the Etoile range. See St. Julien plateau, a veritable natural fortress at 450 meters altitude. Also see the Domaine du Grand Réal, a vast estate which was formerly run by the monks. Also see the 13th century Romanesque church.
