Discovering Cyanotype in Cucuron
Come discover cyanotype and enjoy a fun, creative moment in the cool comfort of our workshop! You’ll leave with 5 prints (15×20 cm / approx. 6×8 inches) that you created yourself. Feel free to bring along plants, lace, or other textured objects!
Set off to discover cyanotype and let your creativity run wild by making photograms using objects you bring along (flowers, delicate leaves, feathers, twine, lace, etc.). After a short introduction to the process, you will compose and print 5 photograms per person (15×20 cm / approx. 6×8 inches) to take home with you!
Cyanotype is an early photographic printing process that produces prints in shades of white and blue (known as Prussian blue), created from a negative or a silhouette (in this case, called a photogram).
We invite you to discover this technique, which was developed around 1840.
During this workshop, weather permitting, the cyanotype prints will be exposed directly in the sun; otherwise, we will use a UV lamp.
Come discover the process and spend a fun, creative moment in the cool comfort of our studio: choose from the scheduled dates or contact us to set a date together on request (minimum 2 people), during the week or on weekends!
