Run by an association, La Bardane is a producers’ store located at the bottom of the village in Cadenet. It offers a wide range of local produce, all year round.

At La Bardane, you’ll find the best of local agriculture: meat, vegetables, fruit, cheese, preserves, wine, flour…. Most products come from farms located less than 20 kilometers from the store. The store is run by 30 associated producers, accompanied by an employee. In addition to participating in the governance and management of the store, the farmers also run the cash register. La Bardane offers a wide range of organic products, as well as a bulk section. Farmers’ stores, which are regulated by law, enable producers and consumers to come together around a fair price, since the store’s margin is used solely to cover its operating costs. Product traceability is also guaranteed by a charter of good environmental practices and farm visits to ensure that no resale purchases are made by member farmers.
