A tasting inspired by colour
Picture yourself beneath the bright sunshine of the South of France, facing the mountains, beside the vineyards, with a glass of Luberon wine in hand: welcome to the Sud Luberon.
Most local wineries produce wines under the AOC Luberon designation. This protected designation reflects a shared terroir and heritage and follows specific production rules, including restrictions on the grape varieties used.
One of the distinctive features of AOC Luberon wines is the strong presence of Vermentino, a highly aromatic grape variety also found in Corsica and Italy. You may also taste Syrah and Grenache in the red wines, as well as Grenache Blanc, Vermentino, Bourboulenc, Clairette, Roussanne and Viognier in the whites.
